Our Firm

LIBERMAN LAW is a boutique law firm based in Atlanta, Georgia, focused on civil appeals, embedded appellate counsel, and real estate litigation. Founded by experienced attorney Julie Liberman, the firm represents individuals, businesses, and community associations throughout the State of Georgia.

Civil Appeals

Julie’s appellate practice is shaped by rigorous research, disciplined issue selection, and consistently clear, well-reasoned briefing. The firm’s appellate work has resulted in numerous published opinions and successful reversals by the Georgia Court of Appeals. LIBERMAN LAW handles appeals in a wide array of civil matters, including real estate, HOA/condo association disputes, and contract litigation. The firm’s appellate offerings include assisting outside trial counsel with strategic motions and serving as embedded appellate counsel, as well as full-service appellate representation at the Georgia Court of Appeals and the Supreme Court of Georgia.

Embedded Appellate Counsel

As embedded appellate counsel, Julie collaborates with trial attorneys to preserve appellate issues throughout the litigation process. Julie assists with early dispositive and other strategic motions, Daubert motions, jury instructions, and post-trial motions and strategy, ensuring legal issues are framed effectively and preserved for later appeals. These services are particularly valuable in high-stakes or complex civil cases, including real estate, commercial disputes, and premises liability matters.

Because Julie has an eye for novel legal theories with merit, she is a tireless advocate for her clients on appeal and prepares meticulously to support that effort.

Real Estate & HOA Disputes

LIBERMAN LAW also maintains a real estate and HOA law practice. The firm assists individuals with real estate claims involving boundary disputes, adverse possession, trespass, nuisance, fraud in real estate contracts, contractual disputes, and construction defects. The firm represents homeowners and associations in navigating complex disputes, including covenant enforcement, governance issues, and fair housing claims, as well as contract and statutory interpretation issues in community association matters. The firm encourages clients to seek early resolutions when appropriate and ensures that clients are well-informed about the risks and costs of litigation from the start.

Above all, LIBERMAN LAW values professionalism, thoughtful analysis, and foresight applied to every client matter.

Whether you are a trial attorney looking for depth of insight into a point of Georgia law, a procedural question, or a strategic issue, an individual facing an opponent in an early dispute, or you are looking to appeal an adverse trial court ruling, LIBERMAN LAW will provide intellectually honest and strategically grounded representation for the best outcomes.
