Julie Liberman founded LIBERMAN LAW, her Atlanta-based boutique firm, as Julie A. Liberman, LLC in December 2013. A tireless advocate with over twenty-five years of legal experience, Julie represents individuals, businesses, and community associations throughout Georgia in disputes involving homeowner associations, real estate fraud, construction defects, boundary conflicts, and contract and employment matters. She has earned a strong reputation for securing appellate reversals and published decisions in the Georgia Court of Appeals, particularly in real estate and homeowner association covenant enforcement matters. As embedded appellate counsel, she partners with trial attorneys to develop legal theories, preserve appellate issues, and guide strategy in matters poised for appellate review. Julie is recognized for her legal arguments that courts have adopted, as well as her clear and persuasive brief writing.
Julie earned her J.D., cum laude, from Georgia State University College of Law; an M.A. with distinction in English Language and Literature from the University of Warwick, U.K.; and a B.A., cum laude, in English and Studio Art from Union College, Schenectady, New York. Before starting her own firm, Julie worked as a trial attorney for the United States Department of Labor, Atlanta Regional Office, and as a staff attorney at the Georgia Court of Appeals.
Whether briefing an appeal or advising on litigation strategy, Julie combines deep knowledge of Georgia’s procedural and substantive law with keen insight into judicial perspectives to deliver tailored representation.
